Manitoba School Library Day Video
On Monday, October 24th, Acadia staff and students joined 34,000 students and teachers from across Manitoba to celebrate Manitoba School Library Day, National Library Day and Canadian Library Month. On this day, everyone in the school “Dropped Everything and Read” (D.E.A.R.) for twenty minutes. Before the event, teachers discussed with their students the importance of having free access to information and books from both our own library and from the various public libraries in our city.
